Job summary

Nido Early School in Greater Bunbury (Australind, Dalyellup and Bunbury) is seeking a Lead Educator to guide the curriculum and learning experiences for our children and families.

You will lead planning cycles, document learning, and actively engage with and role model current compliance practices. This role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or working towards it, along with WWCC and First Aid.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Educator or working-towards.
• In-depth knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience leading a room or team.
• Current WWCC and First Aid.
• Certificate for National Child Safety Training (Geccko) or willingness to obtain before employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the curriculum in collaboration with educators, children and families.
• Lead planning cycles and documentation of learning.

The role: Lead Educator

• Lead and develop the curriculum in collaboration with educators, children and families
• Lead and facilitate the cycle of planning and documentations of learning
• Actively engage with and role model current compliance practices

What you’ll bring

• Diploma in Early Childhood Educator or working-towards
• In-depth knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and inquiry-based learning.
