Job summary

The City of Whittlesea is seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Officer to join the Civil Works team. You will perform asphalt repairs, drainage maintenance and roadside upkeep across Council assets, with a focus on safe, efficient maintenance and presentation of road corridors.

Applicants should have hands-on maintenance experience, operate relevant plant or machinery, and hold a valid MR licence. This full-time role offers a comprehensive remuneration package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Solid day’s work ethic and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with roadside maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate plant or machinery in a roadside/ civil environment.
• Current MR licence or higher is essential.

Responsibilities

• Asphal t repairs including potholes, pavement and road surface repairs.
• Maintain open drainage systems including table drains and associated drainage infrastructure.
• Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and presentation of roads, roadsides and other Council infrastructure.
• Roadside mowing with various tractor and implement combinations.
