The City of Whittlesea is seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Officer to join the Civil Works team. You will contribute to road and drainage maintenance, including asphalt repairs, mowing and general roadside tasks, supporting Council infrastructure across the municipality.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on maintenance experience and an MR or higher licence, with ability to operate relevant machinery on site. The role is full-time with a fortnightly RDO and a comprehensive wellbeing program.

Qualificações

• Ability to operate plant or machinery in a roadside/grounds environment.
• MR licence (or higher) is required.

The part you will play

As part of the Civil Works team, you will work closely with the internal stakeholders/Community.

Working on:

• Asphalt Repairs, including potholes, pavement and road surface repairs
• Maintain open drainage systems, including table drains and associated drainage infrastructure.
• Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and presentation of roads, roadsides and other Council infrastructure
• Roadside mowing with various tractor and implement combinations

• Have you had previous hands‑on experience on roadside and maintenance tasks
• Operate plant or machinery in a roadside, grounds, civil or similar environment
• Have a current MR licence or greater
