Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in maintenance works; ideally asphalting, drain cleaning, and minor concrete construction.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage with residents, traders and contractors in a courteous manner.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support objectives.
• Flexible approach to changing work methods and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance works including asphalting, stormwater drainage maintenance, installation and repair of signage and roadside furniture.
• Carry out regular inspections of the Council road network and undertake maintenance activities in accordance with the Road Management Plan and OHS policies.
• Adhere to OHS policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders to deliver maintenance outcomes.
