Job summary

The City of Whittlesea is seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Officer to join the Civil Works team. The role focuses on asphalt repairs, drainage maintenance, and everyday upkeep of roads and council infrastructure, with a practical, hands-on approach valued.

Applicants should be prepared to operate machinery on roadsides and related sites. The position offers a full-time arrangement with a fortnightly rostered day off and a comprehensive wellbeing program, including exercise classes and gym

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience on roadside and maintenance tasks
• Operate plant or machinery in roadside/grounds/civil environments
• Current MR licence or greater

• Maintain open drainage systems including table drains and associated drainage infrastructure
• Assist with maintenance, cleaning and presentation of roads, roadsides and other Council infrastructure
• Roadside mowing with various tractor and implement combinations

The part you will play

As part of the of the Civil Works team, you will work closely with the internal stakeholders/Community.

Working on: (Maximum 6 dot points)

Asphalt Repairs, including potholes, pavement and road surface repairs Maintain open drainage systems, including table drains and associated drainage infrastructure. Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and presentation of roads, roadsides and other Council infrastructure Roadside mowing with various tractor and implement combinations
