Job summary

The City of Whittlesea is seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Officer to join the Civil Works team. You will contribute to road and drainage maintenance, including asphalt repairs, mowing and general roadside tasks, supporting Council infrastructure across the municipality.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on maintenance experience and an MR or higher licence, with ability to operate relevant machinery on site. The role is full-time with a fortnightly RDO and a comprehensive wellbeing program.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with roadside maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate plant or machinery in a roadside/grounds environment.
• MR licence (or higher) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform asphalt repairs, potholes, pavement and road surface repairs.
• Maintain open drainage systems and associated infrastructure.
• Assist with maintenance, cleaning and presentation of roads and surrounding Council infrastructure.
• Roadside mowing using tractors and attachments.
