Job summary

Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Nuv Jeralderie Pty Ltd T/A Serpentine Roadhouse is seeking a reliable Cook to prepare quality meals at our roadside kitchen on Loddon Valley Highway, Serpentine, VIC. The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, with a salary of $79,500 to $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation.

You will operate ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment, ensure food safety and quality, accommodate dietary needs, and may assist with menu planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Commitment to food quality, cleanliness and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Check freshness and quality of ingredients before cooking.
• Cook a range of meals including burgers and hot dishes.
• Operate ovens, grills, fryers and maintain temperatures.
• Season, portion and garnish meals for presentation.
• Store food safely and maintain temperature controls.
• Assist with menu planning and kitchen staff supervision.
