Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a range of roadhouse-style meals, takeaway items and other menu offerings in accordance with established recipes and kitchen procedures
• Inspect ingredients and food products to ensure freshness and appropriate quality
• Regulate temperatures of grills, fryers, ovens and other commercial cooking equipment
• Season food during preparation and cooking to maintain consistent flavour and quality
• Portion and present meals in accordance with established business standards
• Prepare food to accommodate dietary requirements and reasonable customer requests where required
• Monitor ingredient usage and assist with estimating food requirements for daily service
• Store, handle and rotate food appropriately, including within temperature-controlled storage areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, cooking equipment and food storage areas
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen and service staff to support efficient meal preparation and customer service
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements
