Job summary

Crown Resorts Limited in Sydney is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to strengthen and evolve our enterprise risk framework across the business. You will partner with senior leaders to identify, assess and manage risks while ensuring accountability and resilience across financial and non-financial units.

You'll drive Crown's risk program, collaborate with executives, and translate complex risk concepts into practical business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in risk management, governance, compliance or a related discipline.
• Experience in a large, complex or highly regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence engaging executive leaders.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving capability with demonstrated technical ability across risk and controls.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Risk, Governance, Commerce or a similar field.
• Experience within gaming, hospitality, financial services or another regulated industry will be highly regarded.
• Ability to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses

Responsibilities

• Drive and embed Crown's enterprise risk management framework across the Sydney property.
• Support Line 2 oversight and reporting of department risks, incidents and issues.
• Review and challenge departmental risk profiles to ensure currency and effectiveness.
• Partner with leaders to identify, assess and manage key strategic, operational and regulatory risks.
• Monitor risk incidents, issues and emerging trends, and drive meaningful action.
• Provide oversight of key controls across financial and non-financial risk areas.
• Support projects and business initiatives with practical, commercially focused risk advice.
• Facilitate risk workshops and training to strengthen risk awareness and capability.
• Build strong relationships across the business to foster a proactive risk culture.

Reporting to the Head of Risk, you'll be the go‑to advisor on enterprise risk management across Crown Sydney. You'll work closely with executives, operational leaders and key stakeholders to identify, assess and manage risks, while ensuring the business continues to operate with confidence, accountability and resilience. This isn't your average risk role. You know how to balance challenge with partnership and can translate complex risk concepts into practical business outcomes. You’ll be:
