Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring for a 12-month max-term contract. The role is based in Bedford Park, Adelaide or Sydney, with flexible working arrangements.

You will help manage risk, strengthen controls, and support senior leadership in making informed decisions that protect customers and the business. You’ll provide clear risk guidance on incidents, remediation, and regulatory obligations, and help embed robust risk practices into daily

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management roles in banking or financial services.
• Ability to translate risk issues into actionable guidance for senior leadership.
• Experience supporting change initiatives with risk considerations.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement in risk practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear risk advice across issues, incidents, remediation and regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with leaders to strengthen controls and monitor risk across the business.
