Job summary

Westpac Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring within the Chief Data and Analytics Office. You will support risk governance, embed risk frameworks, and oversee monitoring and reporting across data & AI initiatives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across lines of business, drive root-cause analysis, and help ensure timely remediation of incidents and issues. Hybrid work with office days in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of risk management, controls and monitoring.
• Experience with data privacy and technology risk.
• Ability to identify risks and support remediation across complex environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and clear written reporting.

Responsibilities

• Embed risk frameworks, policies and controls across CDAO and Delivery Unit.
• Provide monitoring, reporting and governance for risk activities.
• Prepare insights and reporting for risk committees and governance forums.
• Support control testing and risk profile management.
• Contribute to governance of transformation initiatives and effective risk ownership.
