Job summary

Westpac Group in Sydney, NSW, Australia, invites applications for an Executive Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring within the Chief Data and Analytics Office. The role leads risk professionals and collaborates with senior stakeholders to embed robust risk frameworks, controls, and governance across the organisation.

This is a Sydney-based, hybrid role with in-office collaboration two to three days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership with ability to coach risk professionals.
• Deep knowledge of risk management, controls and monitoring.
• Experience managing data privacy and technology risk challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear risk insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of risk professionals in supporting CDAO and Shared Data and AI Delivery Unit.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across lines of business to strengthen risk practices.
• Guide the governance, controls, reporting and risk culture across the functions.
• Provide insights and reporting for risk committees and risk governance.
• Support transformation and change delivery with risk-aware approaches.
