Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking an Executive Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring to lead risk professionals supporting the Chief Data and Analytics Office. You will strengthen risk frameworks, policies and governance while partnering with senior stakeholders to identify and remediate risks and incidents.

You will guide root-cause analysis, provide risk insights for committees, and support safe delivery of transformation across CDAO and the Shared Data and AI Delivery Unit.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership of risk professionals and teams.
• Deep knowledge of risk management, controls and monitoring across portfolios.
• Experience handling data privacy and technology risk challenges in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of risk professionals supporting the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) and Shared Data and AI Delivery Unit.
• Embed risk frameworks, policies, controls, reporting and governance across the business.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across lines of business to identify emerging risks, incidents and remediation actions.
• Provide insights and reporting for risk committees and support governance of transformations and change within CDAO and SD&AI Delivery Unit.
