• Previous experience in a warehouse, returns, inventory or distribution role.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• The ability to investigate problems and follow through until resolved.
• Clear communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with colleagues and clients.
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the day-to-day returns process.
• Receive, inspect and process returned stock in accordance with client requirements.
• Identify, assess and document damaged, faulty or incorrect items.
• Update inventory systems and maintain accurate records of all returns.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and follow up on outstanding return queries.
• Liaise with internal warehouse team, sales and customer service staff to resolve issues.
• Organise stock for restocking, quarantine, repair, disposal or return to suppliers, as required.
• Ensure returns are processed within agreed timeframes and service standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised returns work area.
• Follow company procedures, workplace health and safety requirements and client-specific processes.
