Job summary

The Recruitment Alternative – Oakleigh South VIC is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage day-to-day stock control in a hands-on, on-site role. You will oversee inbound/outbound movements, ensure accuracy across locations, and maintain ERP records with a focus on continuous improvement.

You’ll lead a small team, work across warehouse processes, and support Operations Management with reporting. A strong eye for detail and organisational prowess are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of inventory control or warehouse coordination experience.
• Knowledge of core warehouse processes: receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, dispatch and cycle counts.
• Comfortable splitting time between warehouse floor and inventory/ERP systems.
• Strong organisational skills with leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily inbound and outbound stock movements, with put-away, replenishment and location accuracy across the warehouse.
• Ensure received stock is checked, recorded, and allocated to correct locations; assist with inbound planning and capacity management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP; ensure stock movements are logged digitally rather than handwritten notes.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and assist with root-cause analysis and regular cycle counts/stocktakes.
• Monitor pallet/product locations to maintain an efficient warehouse layout and daily end-of-shift reset.
