Job summary

Beaumont Tiles is seeking a motivated Retail Trade Specialist in Capalaba to build relationships with local builders, tilers and trade pros. You will grow trade sales by developing new accounts and nurturing partnerships, becoming the trusted Beaumont Tiles contact from enquiry to completion.

Working with the Store Manager and team, you will drive trade sales growth, provide product advice across tiles, flooring and bathroomware, and deliver outstanding service on every project.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade sales, retail sales, account management or business development.
• Current forklift licence and willingness to assist with loading/moving stock.
• Passion for building customer relationships and growing business.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Confidence preparing quotes and closing sales opportunities.
• Proactive networking to generate new business.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Experience in building products, construction, flooring or bathroomware is valued.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a motivated and commercially driven Retail Trade Specialist to join our Capalaba team on a full-time basis.

This is much more than a showroom sales role. You'll be out building relationships, developing new trade accounts, growing existing customer partnerships and becoming the trusted Beaumont Tiles contact for local builders, tilers, renovators and contractors.

Working closely with the Store Manager and showroom team, you'll play a key role in driving trade sales growth while delivering outstanding service and support to customers from project enquiry through to completion.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Building and maintaining strong relationships with local trade customers

Identifying and converting new business opportunities

Growing existing trade accounts and increasing customer engagement

Preparing quotes, project pricing and tailored solutions

Networking within the local building and construction community

Managing a pipeline of projects and following up opportunities

Providing product advice across tiles, flooring and bathroomware

Supporting customers throughout the entire sales journey

Working collaboratively with the showroom team to achieve sales targets

Maintaining strong product and industry knowledge

ABOUT YOU

You enjoy meeting new people, building strong business relationships and finding opportunities to grow sales. You're proactive, customer-focused and motivated by achieving results.

You'll ideally bring:

Experience in trade sales, retail sales, account management or business development

Current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) and confidence assisting with loading, unloading and moving stock as required

A passion for building customer relationships and growing business

Confidence preparing quotes and closing sales opportunities
