Job summary

UFS Healthcare is seeking a Retail Coordinator to lead the busy Sturt Street Pharmacy in Ballarat. You’ll coach and develop a high-performing team, drive exceptional service, and manage rosters, stock, and workflows to support daily operations.

This hands-on role spends time on the shop floor, improving customer experiences while maintaining standards. Pharmacy knowledge is welcome but not essential; leadership and culture come first.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing people in a customer-focused environment.
• Proven ability to engage, motivate and develop team members.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn pharmacy products and processes.
• Comfort with rostering and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the retail team to deliver exceptional service.
• Coordinate rosters and workflow priorities.
• Maintain stock levels and merchandising.
• Ensure standards of operation, quality and compliance.
• Drive customer service excellence on the floor.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing staff development.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager on business goals.
