Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Clerk, or in a similar inventory management role.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and POS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to stock handling and counting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using the store's inventory management system.
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts, identifying and reconciling discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels, ensuring adequate inventory to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
• Coordinate stock transfers between the store and distribution centers or other store locations.
• Assist with loss prevention measures and report any stock-related issues or risks.
