Job summary

Securecorp Protective Services PTY LTD is seeking a full-time Security Officer to join our team at Chadstone Shopping Centre. You will deliver security and customer service, guard, patrol, monitor and control the premises, and respond to emergencies.

The role requires a current Security License, First Aid & CPR, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

• Proven experience in the security industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.

Securecorp is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a full-time Security Officer to join one of our premier retail sites at Chadstone Shopping Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will have the chance to:

• Deliver exceptional security and customer service
• Guard, patrol, monitor, and control assigned premises
• Respond to emergencies and alarm events, providing essential support
• Assess and address potential risks
• Manage access control
• Write incident reports and maintain data logs

Key Selection Criteria

We’re Looking For Candidates Who

• Hold a current Security License and valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Have proven experience in the security industry
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Can work collaboratively in a team or independently

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

Week 1 – 48 hours

• Monday: 7:00pm – 7:00am (12 hrs)
• Tuesday: 7:00pm – 7:00am (12 hrs)
• Saturday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Sunday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)

Week 2 – 36 hours

• Wednesday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Thursday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Friday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)

Week 3 – 48 hours

• Monday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Tuesday: 7:00am – 7:00pm (12 hrs)
• Saturday: 7:00pm – 7:00am (12 hrs)
• Sunday: 7:00pm – 7:00am (12 hrs)
