Total Tools Aura in Queensland is seeking a Full Time Retail Sales Assistant to join our growing team. You will engage customers, recommend tools, and process sales while upholding service standards across the store.

The role requires a friendly, detail-focused team player with strong computer skills and a passion for tools and trades. Training and ongoing development are provided within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or trade is preferred with a customer service focus.

• Comfortable using a computer and POS systems.

Total Tools Aurais looking for a Full Time Retail Sales Assistant - Sales, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your current skills and experience within a growing and diverse business.

This position will suit a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on customer service. Working with a variety of team members and customers, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid, long-term relationships.

What will you be doing?

• Greet customers in store
• Processing sales transactions
• Providing advice and information on products
• Supporting customer queries and offering solutions
• Maintaining store displays and ensuring a well-presented store
• Processing and maintaining customer orders
• Reach and exceed sales targets
• Provide a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OH&SL guidelines, keeping areas clean and tidy

• Previous retail and/or trade experience – you might be a retail star, or a tradie looking for a break from the tools
• Has worked with, understands, and has a passion for tools
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and a phenomenal teammate
• Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
• Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must
• Available for weekdays, weekends, and some public holiday work

Hours of work:

Applicant must be available to work weekdays, weekends, some public holiday work and will be required to work as standard roster as outlined below.

• 10 Day fortnight roster – working every second weekend, with an RDO each week.
• 9:00am – 5:00pm weekdays
• 8:00am – 4:00pm Saturdays
• 9:00am – 2:00pm Sundays and public holidays
