Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Associate in Sydney to drive profitability and efficiency within the store team. You will work closely with the Operations & Visual Management team to execute inventory, replenishment, and visual standards while supporting safe, efficient daily operations.

You will move across the sales floor and back of house, handling shipments, stockroom standards, and guest needs with a focus on exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales & operational environment.
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team.
• Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles.
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store.
• Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 10-15KG.
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory management processes with a focus on inventory accuracy and reducing shrink.
• Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General/Store Manager to escalation process or system gaps.
• Support shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Maintain and champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Collaborate with reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure efficiency.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through stockroom standards and processes.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to meet business and guest needs.
• Execute operations-focused directives and projects with the Operations & Visual Management team.
• Assist in processing shipment and ensuring product flow including visual merchandising and replenishment.
• Use metrics to support business-driving strategies.
• Resolve client needs quickly and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across sales floor and back of house.
