Job summary

Esco Retail Group Pty Ltd t/a Newdegate Grocer & Cafe is seeking a skilled Retail Manager to lead store operations and drive growth in Western Australia. You will oversee product and staff availability, rostering, inventory, and quality control while upholding OH&S and legislative standards.

The role requires a Diploma or higher qualification and at least one year in retail management. You will handle customer issues, supplier payments, and staff training, ensuring teamwork and strong service

Qualifications

• Applicant must have Diploma or higher qualification.
• Applicant must have a minimum of one years or over work experience in retail operations as Retail Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of the business including product and staff availability.
• Evaluate sales performance and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely payment of supplier bills.
• Rostering of employees weekly considering daily sales by matching with previous sales data.
• Monitor Inventory Level to determine the requirement of Stock in weekly manner.
• Inspect Product quality on a daily basis.
• Ensure staff comply with OH&S standards and provide training when required.
• Ensure compliance with food and health related legislative standards; maintain insurances.
• Address customer concerns promptly and resolve issues to satisfaction.
• Process supplier bills and perform banking reconciliations in a timely fashion.
• Ensure staff understand business processes and work as a team; resolve conflicts effectively.
• Store fresh food safely and display according to store policies.

• Manage all operational aspects of the business including product and staff availability.
• Evaluate sales performance and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely payment of supplier bills.

Job Description Required:

The position requires the Retail Manager to manage the business as whole and take control of all operational aspects such as product availability at all times, staff availability at adequate level all the time.

• Evaluate sales performance and the customer satisfaction.
• Rostering of employees weekly considering daily sales by matching with previous sales data.
• Monitor Inventory Level to determine the requirement of Stock in weekly manner.
• Inspect Product quality on a daily basis.
• Applicant must ensure all staff members comply with occupational health and safety (OH&S) standards. He must be able to provide training to staff members if and when required.
• Applicant must ensure that all food and health related legislative standards are met by the business. All insurances are in place and up to date such as public liability, workers compensation etc.
• The applicant is also required to deal with all customer complaints in an urgent basis. Ensuring the customer concerns and complaints are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Applicant must ensure all bills for suppliers, utilities are paid in timely manner banking reconciliations are carried out in timely fashion.
• Also ensure all staff members have good understanding of business processes and they work as a team. Must be good at conflict resolution etc.
• Employee must make sure fresh food is stored, displayed and managed safely according to store policies.
