Mahadev Empire Pty Ltd T/A swami supermarket seeks a Retail Manager to lead daily operations, oversee inventory, and drive sales while maintaining high service standards in Belmont, Victoria.

You will recruit, train and supervise staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, coordinate stock replenishment and promotions, and deliver a positive customer experience to support growth.

Competenze

• AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Retail or Store Manager (preferred in Indian grocery).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the retail operation while maximising sales, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role focuses on maintaining high service standards, ensuring effective inventory control, supporting retail sales growth, and optimising the use of resources.

Additionally, the Retail Manager is responsible for leading and developing staff, maintaining a safe and customer-focused workplace, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards and all relevant regulatory requirements. JOB DESCRIPTION The Retail Manager at MAHADEV EMPIRE PTY LTD T/A swami supermarket oversees the daily operations of the retail business to ensure efficient service delivery and a positive customer experience. The role involves managing inventory levels, coordinating stock replenishment, organising product displays, and implementing sales and promotional activities to maximise revenue and profitability.

The Retail Manager liaises with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement and quality of products, maintains accurate inventory and financial records, and monitors business performance. The position also includes supervising staff, allocating duties, maintaining high standards of customer service, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with workplace policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations. Through effective leadership and operational management, the Retail Manager contributes to the continued growth and success of the business.
