Job summary

Charter Hall Group in Sydney's CBD seeks a Retail Manager to own retailer relationships, trading performance, lease administration and day-to-day asset outcomes across premium assets. This role sits at the intersection of retail, office and customer experience.

You will partner with property management, asset management, facilities, leasing, development, finance and legal to drive opportunities, enhance tenant experiences and long-term value for the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong background in retail property management with 4–5 years’ experience in complex retail or mixed-use environments.
• Polished communication style with retailers, customers, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen with budgets, reporting, lease administration and revenue-focused outcomes.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach; ability to manage competing priorities at pace.
• High attention to detail and data/reporting accuracy; aligns with company values.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the retail experience across premium Sydney CBD assets to reflect Charter Hall’s portfolio.
• Build trusted retailer and stakeholder relationships through regular engagement and proactive communication.
• Drive commercial performance through leasing support, lease administration, budgeting, reporting, arrears management and revenue optimisation.
• Contribute to strategic asset outcomes by supporting asset plans, capital works, sustainability, reporting and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with teams across property management, asset management, facilities, leasing, development, finance and legal to deliver seamless outcomes.
• Champion Charter Hall’s values with energy, accountability and an active partnership mindset.
