Job summary

Handler Property Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager in Sydney CBD to oversee operations for a dynamic mixed-use environment. You will work closely with tenants, contractors, clients and internal teams to deliver excellent service outcomes and occupier experiences.

Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, the role offers autonomy with strong team support in a fast-growing business. A tertiary property qualification and driver’s licence are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and service-focused approach to stakeholder management.
• Tech savvy with MS Office and maintenance systems.
• Minimum 5 years facilities management experience across retail/mixed-use assets.
• Knowledge of contractor coordination, preventive maintenance and compliance.
• Experience managing budgets and reporting in strata environments desirable.
• Valid driver’s licence and insured vehicle.
• Tertiary qualifications in property discipline or related trade.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, cost-effective facilities management services that support client expectations and occupier experience.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance and operational works with contractors, vendors, tenants and internal stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with tenants, clients, contractors and service partners and resolve issues professionally.
• Prepare, manage and update annual Opex and Capex programmes and budgets with the client and broader team.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and asset management processes.
• Prepare consolidated monthly reports covering service requests, issues, tenancy matters and upcoming priorities.
• Monitor WHS, contractor documents, compliant maintenance and essential services, escalating risks as required.
