ALO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Sydney to lead the Sales & Service team and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role partners with the General Manager to implement a cohesive store strategy and coach staff for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in retail leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and solid MS Office proficiency. ALO focuses on mindful movement and community impact, with a demand for results-driven leadership.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Independent work ethic, time management and personal accountability.
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Lead store guest experience and sales strategy with the General Manager.
• Investigate and address sales opportunities and gaps in process or systems.
• Oversee Sales & Service team to deliver exceptional guest experience and coaching.
• Maintain daily client relationships with customers.
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage with workforce planning and selling initiatives.
• Partner with General Manager to develop and implement Sales & Service strategy.
• Represent the business in meetings and manage budget/metrics with GM.
• Plan future workflows to protect performance and growth.
• Drive team accountability, communication and talent development.
• Lead succession planning and recruitment to build internal capability.
• Write schedules that align with business strategy in partnership with GM.
