Job summary

Colliers in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Facilities/Building Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a portfolio of five retail assets. You will coordinate site visits, collaborate with clients, tenants and service providers, and ensure safety, presentation and performance.

The role involves managing budgets, capital works and compliance, with a focus on cost-saving opportunities and data-driven reporting across properties in the Sydney region.

Qualifications

• Facilities or Building Management experience in retail or commercial property.
• Knowledge of building services, maintenance and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder, contractor and customer service skills.
• Sound financial literacy with OPEX/CAPEX budgeting experience.
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and presentation of the portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee service providers, maintenance, compliance and inspections.
• Monitor OPEX and CAPEX budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee risk, safety and environmental performance.
• Coordinate engineering and capital works projects.
• Support reporting and maintain facilities data.
