Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Sydney is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead a portfolio of client properties and a small FM team. You will oversee maintenance, compliance, asset management, and client reporting, ensuring service levels meet KPIs.

You will manage budgets, forecasts and contractor performance, coordinate with landlords and stakeholders, and drive continuous service improvements in a fast-paced environment. Preference for Canberra location but Sydney is viable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Facilities Management or FM leadership.
• Experience managing commercial, corporate, retail, government, or mixed property portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client properties and ensure effective day-to-day facilities management delivery.
• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance programs, contractor performance, and service quality.
• Act as primary escalation point for critical incidents and after-hours operational issues.
• Coordinate recovery plans and engage specialist contractors when required.
• Lead client meetings and provide operational updates and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure compliance, asset management, and accurate documentation and records.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and maintenance expenditure plans.
