RIVA Recruitment - Australia is assisting an established Australian Fund Manager to appoint a Head of Retail Distribution. The role leads the intermediary sales strategy, drives profitability through new business generation, and manages major client relationships across multiple geographies.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of six professionals and collaborate with investment, product, and marketing teams to advance strategic plans and market opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in funds management distribution.
• Proven expertise in managing and developing high-performing individuals and teams.
• Strong established network across the industry and ability to build rapport with key stakeholders.
• Post-graduate qualification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Growth: Develop a sustainable sales and revenue growth pipeline and achieve sales targets across a defined set of clients.
• Team Leadership: Oversee, direct, and support a team of six professionals covering Intermediary, High Net Worth, and research house relationships across multiple geographies.
• Relationship Management: Manage the development and retention of significant new and existing client and business relationships.
• Channel Development: Lead multi-channel strategy and coordination, including the development of new segments and strategic partnerships.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with investment teams, product specialists, and marketing to represent firm capabilities and co-develop integrated plans.
• Market Analysis: Provide management input regarding market developments and trends to help formulate effective strategic responses.
