Job summary

MetLife Australia is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth in the Victoria retail market by forming high-value distribution partnerships and deepening adviser relationships. The role involves supporting sales across the region, engaging licensee teams, and representing MetLife at industry events.

You will help shape market strategy and contribute to the evolution of MetLife’s retail insurance offer, while modelling high sales standards and delivering strong outcomes for advisers and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing sales activity to hit new business targets.
• Ability to grow awareness of retail insurance offerings among financial advice businesses.
• Proven ability to manage key licensee groups and strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales activity to achieve new business targets.
• Increase awareness and usage of MetLife’s retail insurance offer among leading financial advice businesses.
• Work with Strategic Accounts to implement account plans to grow sales with high priority licensee groups.
• Cultivate relationships with key industry influencers to identify adviser opportunities and grow MetLife’s brand.
• Provide regular, structured insights from advisers and licensees to improve MetLife’s offering.
• Contribute to development of MetLife’s retail insurance offer.
• Role model best practice sales behaviours and culture.
