Job summary

Repco Berri is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a motivated team, support the Store Manager, and help customers find the right parts in a busy, friendly environment.

This hands-on role involves coaching staff, opening and closing duties, ensuring safety, stock control, and providing genuine service. You’ll enjoy a riverland lifestyle with training and career opportunities in a major Australian retailer.

Qualifications

• Have previous supervisory experience in retail or trade environments.
• Experience in sales, wholesale, or workshop operations is preferred.
• Ideally possess mechanical/automotive parts knowledge.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Physical capability to handle heavy stock and perform lifting, bending and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the store team alongside the Store Manager.
• Coach and support team members to deliver excellent customer service.
• Model safety and maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers.
• Responsible for opening and closing duties and daily operations.
• Oversee stock receipt, dispatch and placement to ensure availability.
