Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee on-site retail asset operations. You will manage budgets, coordinate maintenance, and lead risk/compliance programs while maintaining strong relationships with clients, retailers, and vendors.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring safety, service delivery and peak operational performance across the asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, building, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, property management, hospitality, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive risk and compliance programs, including regular audits and incident reporting procedures.
• Manage contractor performance and vendor relationships, ensuring safety and on-time delivery.
• Oversee procurement processes, ensuring value across vendor engagements.
• Monitor and manage operational budgets to meet financial targets.
• Serve as primary on-site point of contact for retailers and facilities matters.
• Coordinate planned and preventative maintenance alongside reactive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, and health and safety legislation.
• Prepare monthly reports covering incident summaries, budget status, and compliance updates.
• Manage minor works projects from inception to completion.
