Job summary

The Venues Collection in The Rocks, NSW, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You will lead the front‑of‑house team, support the restaurant manager, and uphold high service standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Key duties include supervising staff, liaising with reservations, managing cash handling, stock, and safety compliance, while delivering outstanding customer service, coaching

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in restaurant supervision, hospitality or similar leadership role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Cash-handling and POS experience.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and company policies.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
