Job summary

Tassis Group is seeking experienced Restaurant Managers and Supervisors to lead teams across Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley, Hamilton and West End. You will drive exceptional service and superb food and drink experiences in diverse venues.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience, a relevant diploma or three years of supervisory work, and a strong customer focus. RSA certification and a professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification or three years relevant work experience.
• RSA certification (current) and any other related qualifications.
• Exceptional personal presentation and hygiene, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and train staff across a busy venue.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line staff and instill a culture of superior customer service.
• Manage and execute day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Supervise, coordinate and train bar and wait staff for high product knowledge.
• Ensure work areas meet high cleanliness standards.
• Read and modify staff rosters to meet bar and restaurant needs.
• Perform cash handling and till reconciliation.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and stock control.
• Cover day, weekend and night shifts, including split shifts.

We are looking for new managerial staff to help us at multiple venues across Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley, Hamilton and West End.

We are on the hunt for experienced Restaurant Managers and Supervisors. Tassis Pty Ltd venues include Massimo Bar and Restaurant, Opa Bar & Mezze, Yamas Greek and Drink ,Fosh and Rich and Rare , Longwang, Fatcow, Pompette and Dark Shepherd at the Casino, Stilts and Mulga Bills at the Green Bridge and Aunty on Wandoo St, (restaurants included the cuisine of Australian Steakhouse, Seafood Restaurant, Greek cuisine, Italian cuisine, Asian cuisine and Latin cuisine). Our company aims to provide the ultimate experience for our customers with fantastic service, and outstanding food and drinks.

Job tasks and responsibilities

We are currently seeking a customer focused Restaurant Managers who can:

• Work as part of the Food and Beverage team to instill a culture of superior customer service
• Supervise line staff. This requires having a working knowledge of all operational areas within the Restaurant environment
• Manage and execute the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Supervise, coordinate and train bar and wait staff to ensure high product knowledge and exceptional customer service is given every time
• Ensure the work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness
• Be able to read and modify if required staff rosters to meet the needs of the bar and restaurant
• Cash handling and till reconciliation
• Opening and closing procedures
• Stock Control
• The position involves day, weekend and night shifts including split shifts.
• Candidates with developing experience will still be considered for roles as Restaurant Supervisors with the opportunity to progress to Restaurant Managers over time.
