Job summary

Rossi Bar in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the dining room and front-of-house team. You’ll own daily service, drive guest satisfaction, and work with the Venue Manager to maintain high standards across a busy venue.

With 2+ years in management, you’ll control rostering, costs, and reporting while upholding food safety and RSA requirements. Immediate start in a full-time role within a thriving multi-venue group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a restaurant management role.
• Proven leadership with a track record of high-performing teams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with rostering, labour cost control and reporting.
• Proficiency in restaurant software, POS and booking systems.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, OH&S and liquor licensing requirements.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Victorian RSA (Responsible Serving of Alcohol).

Rossi Bar is a dynamic and thriving Italian restaurant known for great food, live music and outstanding service. We're looking for an experienced, passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our floor team and drive the venue's continued success.

As Restaurant Manager, you'll own the day-to-day running of the dining room and front-of-house team. You'll make sure every guest's experience meets and exceeds expectations from the moment they walk through our doors. Working closely with the Venue Manager and the wider group leadership, you'll set the standard for service, lead and develop the team, and drive strong commercial results. This is a great opportunity for an established hospitality leader to take ownership of a busy, much-loved venue within a growing multi-venue group.

Qualifications & experience

2+ years' experience in a restaurant management role (Restaurant Manager, AVM or senior Floor Manager)

Proven leadership, with a track record of building and keeping high-performing teams

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Experience with rostering, labour cost control and reporting

Proficiency in restaurant software, POS and booking systems

Sound knowledge of food safety, OH&S and liquor licensing requirements

Strong wine and beverage knowledge

Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Victorian RSA (Responsible Serving of Alcohol)
