Job summary

Zambrero is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our Southport restaurant on the Gold Coast. You will manage the team, ensure top-quality food preparation and service, and oversee stock ordering and store administration.

This role also involves budgeting, cost controls, and daily safety training to uphold our standards. You will foster a positive culture focused on exceptional customer service, teamwork, and contributing to Zambrero’s Plate 4 Plate initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage your team including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving employee issues.
• Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard.
• Order stock from suppliers.
• Handle office administration such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and policy reviews.
• Prepare and maintain profit & loss statements, budgets and cost controls for goods and labor.
• Oversee daily/weekly cleaning of production areas, dining room, and restaurant.
• Train staff on Workplace Health and Safety compliance.

We are on the hunt fora Restaurant Manager to head up our restaurant in Southport!

What you’ll do

• Managing your team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving any employee issues including grievances
• Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard.
• Ordering of stock from various suppliers
• Office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and reviewing policies
• Compiling, preparing, and maintaining profit and loss statements, budgets, and cost controls with regard to cost of goods and labour
• Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room, and general restaurant
• Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
