Job summary

Mondrian Gold Coast is seeking a senior floor leader to manage the evening service and drive guest satisfaction at our Burleigh Heads venue. You will lead the floor, coach a diverse team, and deputise for the Restaurant Manager during peak hours.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, exceptional guest service skills and a proven track record in high-volume hospitality, with RSA and RMLV current or willingness to obtain. Evening shifts and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Proven senior floor leadership experience in a high-volume hospitality setting.
• Strong evening and late-night service expertise and leadership under pressure.
• Excellent organisation with ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Proven ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Availability for evening shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Current Queensland RSA and RMLV certifications or willingness to obtain.

THE ROLE

• Lead the evening service from the front — setting the tone, managing the pace, and ensuring every guest leaves wanting to come back
• Create exceptional guest experiences through warm, polished service that feels effortless even when it isn't
• Support and deputise for the Restaurant Manager across evening shifts, taking full ownership of floor operations
• Lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture that prioritises guest satisfaction, a proactive mindset and genuine hospitality
• Drive departmental performance through effective revenue strategies, upselling and meticulous financial controls
• Build a positive, engaging and results-oriented environment that promotes learning, growth and mutual respect
• Coach, mentor and develop future leaders within the team

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in a senior floor leadership role within a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant or bar environment
• Strong evening and late-night hospitality experience — you understand the rhythm of a dinner and drinks service and how to lead through it
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a genuine passion for developing and motivating staff
• Availability to work evening shifts, weekends and public holidays — this role is built around the evening operation
• Current Queensland RSA and RMLV (or willingness to obtain)

Qualifications

Current RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
