Job summary

IH Perth City Centre relaunches Ivy & Jack Restaurant in October after a full renovation. This is a unique opportunity to lead the operation of our refreshed restaurant and bar, while also overseeing room service for the hotel.

As Restaurant & Bar Manager you will shape guest experiences, build a high‑performing team, and uphold brand standards in a vibrant, all‑day dining environment serving hotel guests, locals and corporate clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Restaurant & Bar Manager (2+ years)
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• The ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for exceeding guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant/bar & room service teams, including preparing and overseeing department rosters.
• Ensure the Hotel’s key metrics are met and exceeded through engagement initiatives to drive revenue, meet hotels guest love targets, improve efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Training, mentoring and motivating colleagues to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Supporting your team with recruitment and onboarding.
• Working closely with the finance team to set, monitor, and realign your departmental budgets, including managing payroll costs.
• Ensure all hotel safety protocols, responsible service and HACCP requirements are adhered to.
• Resolving guest complaints in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with established service recovery guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction.
