Job summary

Rydges Resort Hunter Valley is part of EVT and seeks a customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team in a casual capacity. You will manage accommodation reservations via phone, email and online channels and be the first point of contact for guests seeking information and bookings.

You will upsell room upgrades, packages and dining experiences, coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping, and ensure accurate entries in the PMS (Opera).

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, hospitality, or sales.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and phone manners.
• Experience with reservation or property management systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage accommodation reservations via phone, email, online channels.
• Assist guests with enquiries regarding room types, rates, packages, facilities.
• Upsell room upgrades, packages, dining experiences and activities.
• Enter and maintain reservation details in the PMS.
• Process payments, deposits, amendments and cancellations.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Sales for seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor room availability and support occupancy and revenue targets.
• Respond to guest enquiries professionally and resolve booking issues.
• Update profiles and maintain knowledge of promotions and special rates.
• Maintain accuracy in reservations and guest requests.
