Job summary

Berry Street in Morwell, Victoria, seeks a Therapeutic Specialist for the Southern Therapeutic Residential Care program. You will provide clinical assessment, consultancy and therapeutic support, coaching staff and modelling therapeutic parenting strategies to foster a caring team environment.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Health or Welfare and at least five years of clinical work with children. The position is fixed-term until 13 November 2026 with parental leave cover and salary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree level or higher in Health or Welfare fields such as Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience conducting clinical work with children.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and developing therapeutic treatment plans with client and care team.
• Collaborate with client and care team to achieve goals within timeframes.
• Work with Teaching Family Model consultant to train staff and implement model.
• Support staff to apply therapeutic approaches with children.
