Job summary

Berry Street is seeking a Night Residential Care Supervisor to lead and support a team of Residential Care Workers across Gippsland region, based on-site at Morwell and Traralgon houses. The role focuses on overnight care and therapeutic practice to keep young people safe and well.

You will supervise staff, respond to incidents, manage rosters, budgets and reporting, and foster a trauma-informed, culturally respectful environment while ensuring high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent.
• Driver's license (green Ps) required.
• Trauma-informed training via DFFH/TAFE or equivalent within 6 months of engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nightly operations of Residential Care homes.
• Provide leadership and supervision to Residential Care Workers.
• Ensure program reporting compliance and budget accountability.
• Embed therapeutic framework and oversee case management plans for outcomes.
• Develop and assist with house rosters.
