Job summary

Healthscope Independence Services in Australia seeks a Residential Supervisor to lead SIL services in Karama, NT. You will supervise a team of support workers, manage rosters, and ensure safe, person-centred care aligned with client goals.

This role reports to the Area Manager and focuses on operations, environment, and standards across the house while collaborating with leadership to maintain service continuity. A strong emphasis on coaching and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to support people with disability in daily living and personal care.
• High level interpersonal skills for stakeholder consultations.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to mentor staff and maintain a positive team culture.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating rosters.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of support workers to ensure safe, empowering care.
• Roster direct support staff and monitor attendance with escalation plans.
• Supervise cleanliness, comfort, and service standards in the house.
• Conduct regular supervision and staff accountability reviews.
• Manage incidents per required timeframes and participate in audits.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to ensure best practice delivery.
• Identify training needs and escalate to the Area Manager.
