Job summary

Healthscope Independence Services in Karama, NT, is seeking a Residential Supervisor to lead our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services within the NDIS. You will manage a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring safe, empowering care and overall house operations.

The role reports to the Area Manager and collaborates with the leadership team to sustain service continuity and client outcomes. You will require a Certificate IV Disability, strong leadership and rostering skills, and the

Qualifications

• Certificate IV Disability or equivalent sector experience is required.
• Experience actively supporting people with disability in daily living and personal care skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently without supervision and escalate appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Roster direct support staff within your house and monitor absenteeism.
• Oversee support workers and maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
• Ensure staff understand responsibilities and conduct regular supervisions.
• Ensure all incidents are managed effectively and reported in timeframes.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
