Job summary

Healthscope Independence Services provides high-quality disability support within SIL services, helping clients live independently and achieve goals in the community and at home.

We seek a dedicated Disability Support Worker with Certificate IV in Disability, capable of personal care, daily living activities, and community participation, including overnight shifts. Join a supportive team focused on client-centred care.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or related qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in disability or healthcare services is required.
• Strong communication, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work across a range of shift types.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support in line with individual support plans.
• Support overnight sleepover shifts and assist with morning routines and handover.
• Assist participants with daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, etc.
• Accompany and support clients in community-based activities and appointments.
