Job summary

Smarter Air is seeking an organized, highly motivated HVAC Residential Service Manager to lead our service operations from our HQ in Loganholme. You will manage the field service team, oversee job estimations, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure exceptional customer outcomes across South-East Queensland.

In this leadership role, you will drive performance, review margins, streamline workflows, and grow the division while upholding high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified or experienced HVAC specialist for residential systems.
• 3+ years in a service manager, supervisor, or senior leadership role.
• Pricing, labor estimation, and competitive client quotes experience.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate with trade suppliers, manage procurement pipelines, and handle customer communication with professionalism.
• Experience with field service software such as ServiceM8, SimPRO, or Jobber.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the residential HVAC service team to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Prepare accurate estimates for servicing, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
• Manage supplier relationships, procurement, and inventory for projects.
• Serve as the primary contact for client escalations and maintain satisfaction.
• Review job margins and streamline field workflows to drive growth.
