Job summary

Care Partners Australia is seeking a Residential Care Officer to join our NSW team. You will provide care and support to residents in Sydney-based residential facilities, aligning with individual support plans and NDIA standards.

The role involves supervising staff, coordinating day-to-day activities, monitoring wellbeing, reporting incidents, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote independence and community participation.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or work experience in lieu.
• At least 12 months of work experience in similar role.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, support and supervision to residents in accordance with their individual support plans and assessed needs.
• Lead and supervise residential care staff to ensure residents receive safe, respectful and person-centred care.
• Coordinate day-to-day delivery of care and support within the residential facility, including allocating duties and monitoring shift activities.
• Assist residents in developing independent living skills and participating in community activities.
