Job summary

Lifesupport Healthcare Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Residential Care Officer to join their team. You will provide direct care to residents according to individual care plans and support independence, helping with daily living activities and mobility.

You will monitor wellbeing, maintain detailed records, and liaise with families and healthcare professionals. The role requires AQF Diploma or higher and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• AQF Level Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field.
• Strong communication and accurate record keeping are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to residents according to care plans.
• Assess care needs and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
• Assist with daily living activities, mobility and independence.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to management/healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate and supervise Personal Care Workers and support staff.
• Maintain accurate care records, incidents and progress notes.
• Liaise with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Support residents' participation in community and recreational activities.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and changes in wellbeing.
• Ensure care aligns with policies, NDIA requirements and safety procedures.
• Promote dignity, privacy, choice and quality of life.
