Lifesupport Healthcare Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Residential Care Officer to join their team. You will provide direct care to residents according to individual care plans and support independence, helping with daily living activities and mobility.

You will monitor wellbeing, maintain detailed records, and liaise with families and healthcare professionals. The role requires AQF Diploma or higher and at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care and support to residents according to care plans.

• Coordinate and supervise Personal Care Workers and support staff.
• Maintain accurate care records, incidents and progress notes.
• Liaise with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Support residents' participation in community and recreational activities.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and changes in wellbeing.
• Ensure care aligns with policies, NDIA requirements and safety procedures.
• Promote dignity, privacy, choice and quality of life.

Our client, Lifesupport Healthcare Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Care Officer to join their team.

Tasks include:

• Provide direct care and support to residents/participants according to their individual care and support plans.
• Assess residents' care needs and assist in developing, implementing and reviewing individualised care plans.
• Support residents with daily living activities, personal care, mobility and maintaining independence.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing, behaviour and changing support needs and report concerns to relevant management or healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate and supervise Personal Care Workers and support staff involved in delivering day-to-day care.
• Provide guidance to care staff regarding individual support requirements, routines and appropriate care practices.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, incidents, progress, observations and changes in residents' circumstances.
• Liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals and other service providers regarding ongoing care and support requirements.
• Assist residents to participate in community, social and recreational activities according to their individual goals.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies and changes in residents physical or emotional wellbeing.
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with organisational policies, NDIS requirements, workplace health and safety procedures and relevant care standards.
• Promote residents' dignity, privacy, choice, independence and overall quality of life.

Qualifications and skills:

• AQF Level Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field
• At least one year of full time, relevant work experience within the last five years
• Demonstrated experience in implementing care plans and behaviour support plans within a residential setting.
• Ability to work independently during shifts, manage resident supervision, and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Strong communication and record keeping skills, including progress notes and incident reporting.

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation
