Job summary

Opal HealthCare's Phillip Island Grove Care Community in Cowes seeks an experienced Wellbeing Manager to drive meaningful engagement and wellbeing programs for residents. You’ll foster social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive and physical wellbeing, supporting a warm, person-centred living environment.

Reporting to the Care Community leadership team, you will coach and support wellbeing and care staff, partner with families and clinicians, and coordinate social events and participation to enhance

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in aged care or community services.
• Experience delivering wellbeing programs and community engagement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Meaningful Life program and design engaging activities for residents.
• Develop wellbeing programs reflecting residents' interests and backgrounds.
• Mentor wellbeing and care team members to deliver engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with residents, families, clinicians, volunteers and allied health staff.
• Coordinate social events and outreach activities; monitor outcomes.
