Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking an experienced Wellbeing Manager at Kawana Waters Care Community on the Sunshine Coast. You will lead meaningful life programs, deliver engaging activities, and partner with residents, families and clinical teams to enhance wellbeing and social connection.

Working within the Care Community leadership team, you will design and implement wellbeing experiences that reflect residents' backgrounds and preferences, promote dignity and belonging, and drive continuous

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Allied Health, Leisure & Lifestyle or related field.
• Proven leadership experience coaching and mentoring teams.
• Experience delivering wellbeing programs and community engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Meaningful Life program and create engaging activities for residents.
• Develop wellbeing programs reflecting residents' interests, backgrounds, cultures, and preferences.
• Lead, mentor, and support wellbeing and care team members to deliver meaningful engagement opportunities.
• Partner with residents, families, clinicians, volunteers, and allied health professionals to enhance quality of life.
• Coordinate social events, community engagement initiatives, and bus outings.
• Complete wellbeing assessments and develop individual engagement plans for residents.
• Monitor participation, evaluate program outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote a positive culture that supports resident choice, independence, dignity, and belonging.
